Went with friends for a night out on Saturday and had a great time. I ordered the penne pollo and it was amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also got some wings, which were alright but maybe just a little chewy. Their beer selection was fantastic, and our server was super helpful in guiding us to the right choices. He was friendly and we even ended up chatting about the Premier League — he’s from Egypt and supports Liverpool as well because of Mo Salah. Overall, amazing beers, good food, and excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend.

Amazing pub for a quick bite and a couple of beers. Absolutely amazing staff who seemed to like their job and was super kind. Beer was great and food absolutely amazing aswell. Forgot to take a photo of the food (Idiot sandwich) but can 100% recommend that.

Family Room

One of my favourite pubs in the city! Prime location, eclectic old skool decor, lovely server (thank you Adriana), great menu and of course, guiness on tap 👌 highly recommend, any day of the week!

Amir “Oveis” Honarmand

Good location and a very cosy little pub with a great vibe, good beer and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food really let it down, we ordered two pounds of chicken wings, and they were pretty much inedible. They smelled off and had an unpleasant taste.

Needed a pint, they had few on tap. Can't complain. Did my research on this place while I was having a drink and I am glad they changed the name beck to The Village Idiot from The Village Genius. Staff and service was great and it wasn't a bad attempt at trying to copy a British Pub.
