Awesome bands, fun karaoke, good crowd in general, and Sherri is a sweetheart. Such a great bartender. 🥰 Barry and Dakota are awesome, as well. Always a fun night out . 🥰

Worst bar I’ve ever been to in my life. Completely dead about 20 people in the bar, extremely rude and short tempered bouncers. We got kicked out after going to the bathroom accused of doing drugs (all in professions that do frequent drug testing lol). Our group brought about 10 people doubling the size of the bars current capacity before the bouncer tells 5 of us in the group we need to leave even tho only 2 went to the bathroom for “doing drugs by association” (yeah he really said that). The bartenders were even shocked that we were getting kicked out because we were half of the bars business that night. On top of this as we are heading out our group decides on going to the fox. While waiting outside for our cab ride to the fox the bouncer calls the fox, describing each and every one of us telling them not to let us in. I’ve worked as a bouncer before and this was the most unprofessional I’ve ever seen a person handle a situation, very rude, confrontational, and hostile when we tried to be polite and have a respectful conversation with him about it. If was the owner of this establishment I would be embarrassed and ashamed of this behaviour from one of my employees. Our group likely would’ve spent a couple few hundred dollars on drinks had we been allowed to stay along with potentially bringing in more customers increasing business. This is why the North bay bar scene has died. These bars give these egomaniacs some of authority and they abuse it every chance they get. It’s a bad business move I’ll never understand.

My boyfriend planned a surprise 40th birthday party for me here, and what should have been an amazing night turned into a huge disappointment. When I walked in, about 30 of my friends and family were there to celebrate. The bar itself was pretty empty, but the band was fantastic and we were up dancing and having a great time. I had one beer the entire night. My boyfriend hadn’t even had any. Out of nowhere, the bartender decided to cut him off because she claimed he stumbled, and then had the bouncer kick him out. At that point, he was literally sitting and chatting calmly with friends — not being loud, not being disruptive, nothing. We ended up packing up all the decorations, cake, and gifts and moving the party to La Casa de Maria, where we were welcomed with kindness and even given a private room on the spot. They were wonderful and saved the night. I completely respect that bartenders have a responsibility when it comes to serving alcohol — that’s part of the job. But having someone removed without cause is unacceptable. My boyfriend wasn’t intoxicated or causing trouble, and this kind of treatment toward paying customers is exactly why this place was empty on a Saturday night despite a great band. From what I’ve since heard, this seems to be a recurring issue with this particular bartender. It feels less like enforcing safety and more like a power trip. Unless things change, I can’t imagine this place lasting much longer.

Good music and great bartenders. I go there often and I like the vibe. Sherry is always friendly, quick and responsible when bartending. It was a great halloween weekend there with sherry and Jake serving drinks. Good selection of drinks, fair pricing along with an good live rock Band. This place has live bands quite often and there always worth coming out to listen too.

Awful place. Terrible customer service. Passable at best bar. The bouncers for the most part can love themselves. If they weren't the only "underground" venue to see cool local bands downtown, I wouldn't be found there dead. That said, the live music is (occasionally) pretty solid. And cheap. Unlike the drinks.
