The food at Captain’s Boil was amazing. The seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The sauces were rich, bold, and well-balanced, and they coated the seafood beautifully. Every bite was satisfying, especially with the mix of spices and seasoning levels. Portions were generous and definitely worth it. If you love flavorful seafood boils, this place does not disappoint.

I avoided The Captain’s Boil for years after hearing the food was “too oily.” That turned out to be a mistake. My first visit was at the Queensway location, which set the bar high, and the Mississauga location delivered the same great experience. We ordered two boiling plates — egg and noodles with chicken in the Captain’s Boil base, and rice and noodles with mussels in Cajun sauce — along with chicken tenders, sweet yam fries, and drinks. Everything tasted excellent. Yes, the food is oily, but that’s expected and works well if you enjoy bold spices. They provide gloves, aprons, table covers, and waste bins, making the experience hassle-free. The Mississauga location also has a nice bar area, and customer service was excellent. Must-try at least once. Only downside: seafood prices vary based on market rates. Will be back.

I recently visited The Captain’s Boil for a seafood feast, and it was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, explaining the menu options and helping us customize our boil to perfection. We went for the classic seafood boil with shrimp, mussels, all tossed in their signature Cajun sauce with a medium spice level. Everything arrived steaming hot in those iconic plastic bags, and let me tell you; the flavors were spot on! The seafood was fresh, tender, and bursting with that perfect blend of garlic, butter, and spices. We added corn and potatoes on the side, which soaked up the sauce beautifully. It’s a hands-on, messy affair (bibs and gloves provided!), which made it even more enjoyable for our group. Portions were generous, and while it’s on the pricier side, the quality and experience make it worth every penny. If you’re a seafood lover craving something interactive and flavorful, this spot is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!

With 11 locations in Ontario and 19 across Canada, this pirate-approved spot is all about rolling up your sleeves, digging in, and making memories with your crew. The Captain’s Boil Sauce on the shrimp is the true gold of the ship: rich, buttery, garlicky, and flavourful enough to unite every bite. You really can’t go wrong with the famous signature sauce; it brings every flavour together like a pirate uniting the seven seas. The mussels in Cajun sauce added that mild kick: a perfect choice if you want to turn up the heat without getting marooned on Spice Island. And of course, regular + Cajun fries were the perfect side treasure; crispy, salty, and ideal for scooping up all that leftover sauce at the bottom of the bag (the real pirate move). The Guava and Lychee juices were refreshing, sweet, and tropical: the perfect break between all that buttery goodness. Had a great experience in food industry. The service provided at this establishment was top-notch, and the premises were impeccably clean. We sampled the traditional Captain's Sauce, a delightful blend of garlic, cajun, and lemon pepper—definitely a must-try! Our order included shrimp, lobster, crab, clams, and mussels. The corn and potato sides were also a hit. With reasonable prices, delicious flavors, and an all-around fantastic Monday lunch experience, this place truly delivers.
