Best Shawarma in Belleville! Hands Down! I just tried Tahini’s, the new Middle Eastern shawarma spot in Belleville, and it’s already my favorite! I ordered the regular Gyro Shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious, the best I’ve had in all of Belleville. The tzatziki had the perfect amount of kick, spicy enough to be exciting but not overwhelming. The seasoning was out of this world, and the portion size was twice as big as what other places offer for the same price ($10.99). They also have an “Extreme Shawarma” for $14.99, which is the size of a pizza and still cheaper than most regular shawarmas elsewhere. Ranking the local spots: 1 Tahini’s – The new king of shawarma in Belleville! 2 Nasir’s – Good, but technically in Prince Edward County (just 5 km away). 3 Osmos – Solid, but not on Tahini’s level. 4 Everyone else – Decent, but nothing special. Avoid Oxus at all costs though, I got sick twice after eating there. Horrible aftertaste, and I only went back to give it a second chance (big mistake). If you love shawarma, Tahini’s is the place to go. The quality, flavor, and value are unmatched. I’ll definitely be back!
