Have to write this to call out our server, Sue. I’ve eaten at more Swiss Chalets than I can remember, but I have never seen service as quick as Sue. She was literally jogging between tables and our dinners came correctly and FASTER than most drive-thrus. Literally was under 5 minutes! We also had a food allergy and Sue wiped down the payment device before handing to us. Impressive. Thanks Sue.

I stopped by Swiss Chalet recently and honestly it reminded me why it’s been such a classic in Canada for so long. From the moment you walk in, there’s this warm, cozy atmosphere that feels instantly familiar. The smell of the rotisserie chicken hits you right away and it’s impossible not to get hungry immediately. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. I ordered the rotisserie chicken dinner with their famous Chalet sauce, and it was absolutely perfect. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy with that signature slow-roasted flavor that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. The skin had just the right amount of crispness, and dipping it in the Chalet sauce takes it to another level. Honestly, that sauce alone deserves its legendary reputation. The sides were just as good. The fries were hot and crispy, the coleslaw was fresh and balanced, and the bun with garlic butter was a great touch. Everything came out quickly and tasted like comfort food done right. What really stood out was how consistent everything was. It’s the kind of place where you know exactly what you’re going to get: hearty portions, great flavor, and a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a proper meal without any fuss. If you’re craving classic rotisserie chicken or just want a satisfying, comforting dinner, Swiss Chalet absolutely delivers. It’s one of those places that never goes out of style, and after this visit I’ll definitely be going back soon.

We’ve been here a few times in recent months with our grandparents. Every time it’s hot, well-seasoned, and service has been great! Our waitress tonight was funny and patient and made my grandparents laugh! I didn’t get her name, but I hope she sees this! Thank you!

Sue looked after us tonight, she was very attentive, courteous, fast with our order/requests, and made the evening incredible. Have gone to all Swiss Chalet restaurants in KW, and this is by far the best. Out of way, it well worth the drive for this experience. Management…. No idea if all your servers are like Sue, but you should be holding onto her. She embodies the spirit of what every Swiss Chalet server should strive to be. Incredible!

I ordered chicken, rice, and a Caesar salad on the side from Swiss Chalet to go. When I got home, the rice was completely missing. The Caesar salad was also in terrible condition — the lettuce was black and clearly not fresh. I paid for a full meal and received a missing item and food that was not edible. Very disappointing experience and poor quality control
