Me and a friend of mine ate here today, it was my first time, but he's been here before. We came for breakfast, and saw a party of four waiting for a table, luckily we were seated right away at their last table for two. We both ordered the 2 eggs breakfast (I forget what they called it) my friend got the baked beans and bacon, and I got the home fries with farmers sausage. I fully enjoyed my breakfast, but for me the eggs were on the verge of being overcooked for over easy. The home fries were unseasoned and dark, but well cooked. One of the sausages I got was dry and crispy, and the other was over cooked, but edible. I pointed it out to the wait staff, and they promptly brought me a side of sausages to make up for it. The replacement was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. The sausages are larger than your normal breakfast sausage with great flavor. My friend also enjoyed his meal, his eggs looked well cooked, and the bacon looked great as well, we suspect that they are oven cooked, because the texture was slightly crispy, without shattering like glass. My friend also liked the beans, and thinks they are either really high quality processed beans, or house made.
The service was excellent, they were quite busy at the time we went, and with 2 wait staff, and the owner on the floor tending to customers, we didn't have to wait to order, get coffee refills, or for them to follow up on how we were doing woth the meal. As I said my one sausage was dry and crispy, and when pointed out to one of the ladies, she promptly said that she'll get me a side of sausages, the other lady and the owner both followed up to make sure I got the replacement and was satisfied. Perfectly recovering after a kitchen fumble. Couldn't ask for better.
100% would recommend going, if for the sausages alone, when they're properly cooked they're amazing, and when overcooked, they're still very good. Pleasant, responsive service is just the cherry on top.
Went to Spare Parts for breakfast with my friends and had a great experience. I ordered the eggs benny and it was delicious. My friends had omelets and a regular breakfast, and everyone really enjoyed their food. Everything came out hot and tasted great.
What really stood out, though, were the two ladies working Sunday morning, January 4th. They were super friendly and genuinely fun to talk to. We ended up having a whole conversation about little sisters, lots of laughs, and it just made the experience that much better.
Good food is one thing, but great service makes you want to come back. We’ll definitely be back.
