They have a nice selection of British and Irish beers as well as many others. Food is grade a pub food like chicken pot pie and shepards pie and others. Overall a very nice experience.

Sir John A’s is a regular haunt of ours whenever we are in Ottawa. They have BROAD selection of domestic and international draught beer options available. The food menu is extensive, whether you are looking for snack items/appetizers or main courses. We are especially fond of the Nachos. The kitchen stays open as late as 12:30am (usually, not guaranteed), and the staff is very attentive and accommodating.

Great pub! Local craft beers available. Friendly staff and the service was quick. Go and give it a try. I haven't eaten there but people ordered food and it looked good.

My friends and I stopped in to replenish after a long day a Christmas shopping, and let me tell ya, this was the perfect spot to sit down and relax. The food and drinks were great, but the service was even better. Sophia was incredibly friendly as well as knowledgeable about the beer, which is impressive considering there is roughly 60 on tap! The rest of the staff also said bye to us as we were leaving, nice host as well. Great spot, would recommend.
