I heard about this place from a friend. Service was good but really slow it took me like almost 20-25 minutes to get my meal. Coffee refills were slow and Coffee lukewarm. They seemed to have only one lady trying to serve everyone . As compared to other breakfast places I've eaten in oshawa I found the food was good but very small on portion size if your not a big eater then this place is good if you like large portion meal this is not the place. Washroom were clean. If I do go back it will be with more people.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Me and my daugter decided to come get some local brunch. It was around 2:10pm and we saw this place, so we walked inside. Within an instant a lady from the back started yelling & screaming saying "We are closed, get out ". I said to her "Ok you don't need to be rude, your business hours say 9am to 3pm" She continued to say "No, no we close, we close ". Needless to say we won't ever be back. We walked across to Harvey's instead Terrible 1st time experience. We walked by this place again, 2pm. And we saw it's saying open once again from 9am to 3pm. But the doors were locked and nobody inside. Maybe they need to change the hours if they close at 2pm, they should update it for everyone else. But after reading some reviews, I can see this place is a waste of time and no good.

All day breakfast place. Food is cooked with care & is ready fast & served with a smile. Love the atmosphere & the people who dedicate their lives to running this business. Feeding people & making people happy. Love this place!

Wonderful experience! Very sad to hear that Sherry is selling this restaurant. She's friendly and hardworking. She always wants to converse and get to know the customers. The food is good but not exceptional. The staff are friendly as well. I hope to return before Sherry gives it up as I'm sure things will definitely change. Highly recommend you meet Sherry as she's been here 13 years!

Sherry's Diner is a local staple. I've been here a couple of times for their breakfast special which is good, tasty, and consistent. Three small eggs, home fries, three strips of crispy bacon and three slices of fresh marble rye toast. Plus, I add an endless coffee. That's a good start for anyone's day. The food is tasty, the homefries are seasoned and well cooked. Eggs over easy were cooked perfectly and the crispy bacon is meaty and yummy. The service has been consistent too, attentive, polite and talkative. Very kind and nice. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a good clean restaurant and a good affordable breakfast. Sherry's Diner, give it a try.
