Came after the Maple leafs game this past weekend, and this is exactly what I was missing from having an amazing day. It was roughly a 10 minute walk from the stadium and it was worth the wait until after the game was done cause the portion and price was just right. Really good sauces, generous amount of chicken and great staff. If you’re ever in the area I’d give them a try.

Stopped by for a quick bite. There were always long lines and the staff were friendly, though the beef was a bit on the dry and salty side for me.

Toronto is full of shawarma places, however this is one of the good ones. The restaurant seems very clean. The stuff wears gloves and they are very friendly. The food was ready in no time. I ordered mixed ( chicken & beef ) personal plate. It was delicious. The portion was big. I would definitely recommend this place for casual quick meal.

I just had my lunch at Shawarma West near 8th York, and it was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the beef wrap, and it was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of flavor and freshness. What I loved most was the variety of toppings and sauces — from lettuce and olives....to their amazing signature sauces — everything was prepared exactly the way I liked it. A special thank you to Dheeraj and Dipen for their warm service and great recommendations! They made sure I had the best combination of ingredients to make my wrap flavorful and satisfying. If you're in downtown Toronto and craving something delicious, Shawarma West is definitely worth a visit. Great food, friendly staff, and excellent customer service — highly recommended! 👏

Loved our visit here! The food is super tasty and fresh—the shawarma plates are loaded with tender, flavorful meat, crisp salad, and soft, warm pita. The sauces really bring everything together perfectly. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. There’s plenty of seating inside, so it’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your meal. And don’t skip dessert—the baklava is perfectly flaky and sweet, the best way to finish off a great meal.
