This Bengali restaurant is a flavor bomb of tradition and comfort. The rich kosha mangsho, biriyani , and melt-in-the-mouth mishti doi taste just like home. Every bite is authentic, aromatic, and unforgettable.

Oshawa’s first proper Bangladeshi restaurant. We had cha, porota, and beef kala bhuna, and everything tasted great. The customer service was 11/10; the two staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming. We dined in for breakfast, but this place is ideal for takeout. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Looking forward to trying more items from the menu, and hoping they continue to maintain their food quality and service standards. One small note would be that the portion sizes could be a bit more generous.

Had to order takeout. Was able order milk tea & shingara to eat in. Milk tea is really good & chicken shingara is good. The stuff was very friendly. Met owner , really nice pleasant person. He has big vision. Taking order was Kala bhouna & Beef Kacchi. Beef Kacchi flavour was good but not like Biya Bari . Quantity was good . 2 piece beef was given . Allo needs improvement. Kala Bhouna was amazing.simply Best . Tasted like back home. Recommend by owner . Owner gave me 15% discount plus complimentary tea & sweet. Thanks Will be back soon

We ordered roast polao and wow! It was absolutely on point. Perfectly bhaja, rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of creamy without being heavy. You can tell it’s cooked with care and proper Bengali love. Service was super quick, which was a huge plus. The owner and staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, extra brownie points for that. The owner even gave us complimentary dishes to try, which was such a lovely surprise. We grabbed some takeout (Rui) to enjoy at home and I’m already looking forward to digging in. I would request to expand the menu a little bit, especially try including mutton rezala and mutton kacchi!! All in all, amazing food, lovely people, and such a comfort to have great Bengali food near home for Oshawa folks. Will 100% be back!

We mainly ordered two items: beef tahari and chicken roast with polao. The tahari was quite good, and we really enjoyed the chicken as well. Hopefully, the taste continues to improve over time. One thing worth mentioning is the pricing—it feels slightly on the higher side. If the main items were priced $2–$3 lower, it would be even better value. That said, the service was excellent and very welcoming. Overall, it’s definitely a place worth trying. The seating area is a bit small, but it’s great for takeout. The tea was outstanding and a nice way to end the meal.
