Must Savor Savory Shawarma!! This is a must try for that local flair!! Lots of options and very personal service. Everything is freshly made. I tried the Kibbeh and that was delicious. Definitely a must lunch or dinner or even late night snack!! Savory you just put yourselves on my weekly meal rotation. Well done! ***3-06-2026 Update*** Got my Falafel fix!! Outstanding as usual!! To everyone this is the place to go for your Mediterranean Eats. The difference from those other chains is their topping selections. You get exactly what you want without the extra upcharges. I created my ultimate falafel sandwich today. Great presentation and local friendly service. Well done Savory

Savoury Shawarma in Oshawa is hands down the best shawarma spot in the entire Durham region. I’ve tried so many places around here, and nothing comes close to how fresh, authentic, and flavourful this place is. You can genuinely tell it’s real Palestinian shawarma made with care, not just another fast food version. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and the quality is unreal. The meat is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavour, and the portions are super generous. What I love most is how many toppings and options they have, you can customize everything exactly how you want, and it never feels skimpy. The sauces, pickles, veggies… everything tastes fresh and homemade. And I have to mention the feta fries because they were honestly some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Crispy, loaded, and the feta just takes it to another level. We ended up fighting over the last few bites because they were that good. The menu has so many choices, whether you want a wrap, platter, fries, toppings… there’s something for everyone. The whole experience feels authentic, welcoming, and worth coming back for again and again. If you’re in Oshawa or anywhere in Durham and you want real, authentic Palestinian shawarma, do yourself a favour and go to Savoury Shawarma. This place is a gem. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Savory Shawarma if you're looking for a meal that truly hits the spot! I ordered the chicken shawarma on salad and the shawarma wrap, and I was blown away by the generous quantity of meat and the incredible flavor in every bite. The ingredients are fresh, the fillings are satisfying, and the customer service is exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you want a delicious, high-quality meal with great portions, this is definitely the place to go!

Wow - I am impressed with this place. I live in a very heavy shawarma population so I know when a place is good. I was very happy with the service and the food. It was very flavourful and truly enjoyed every bite. My only cons; 1. I wasn’t a fan of tahini put on top of my wrap as it made it very messy. I would prefer as an option instead of automatically applied. 2. It would be great if the saj wrap was either wrapped with wax paper or one of the ends were closed to avoid a lot of food falling out Otherwise I am very happy with this place and would definitely go back if I am in Oshawa.

We recently moved to north oshawa from Markham. My fiancé and I are both foodie and if you’ve been to Markham areas you know they have amazing food. We came across savoury Shawarma and thought we would try it out bc it was 4.8. Some restaurants have a high rate because they offer free items to ensure they have a high rate- this was NOT one of those. The food was amazing. We got the chicken Shawarma saj and mixed plate. The server was great and gave us 2 cups of soup to try. The shawarma saj wrap was one of the best I have tried ! We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu! Just to note parking is limited
