Was craving a poutine, and this place seemed like it would be good. I ended up getting a medium because I was hungry, but the gravy was disappointing and so were the cheese curds. Thought it was a bit pricey, but the hours of this place is what makes it good. I’m sure they get a lot of business with all the bars near by, because nothing hits better than eating a poutine when you’re drunk or hung over.

Pretty mediocre and very expensive. Small cup of poutine was $10.00. Cheese curds were not squeaky and the gravy was lukewarm, not hot. Fries were ok. Cash only. Still enjoyed it but have had better poutine.

Just a really good stand, cash only but 10/10 poutine, was really crispy and the perfect amount of cheese curds and gravy. Good amount of food for the price. Whoever this guy is, made the best poutine we’ve ever had. We also came back twice more because of it!

This is a small roadside stand that looks like a food truck that lost its wheels, but don’t let the appearance fool you. The food is solid and satisfying. I had the poutine and it was honestly excellent—crispy fries, rich gravy, and fresh cheese curds. It’s a no-frills kind of place that focuses on flavor. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, and preferably Canadian dollars, but the owner was accommodating and worked with me. Great little stop if you’re passing through and want something real.

Nice stand that’s open late when many places in Ottawa aren’t. The workers there are also friendly. Just note they only take cash.
