Amanda was amazing! She had great insight on the menu, wonderful sense of humor, and truly really great at her job! She is very engaging and enthusiastic about the food- we seriously ordered more because she was so wonderful- the sticky toffee pudding was as great as she described. I hope to come back and have her as our waitress again. Love the enthusiasm.

Can't believe we never been here before. Love in London for years when this place got put up and never been. We came in because we had gift cards and wanted to try something new. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the room and atmosphere. Food was great. Server was great plus she hooked us up!

Disappointing from start to finish. The space was clean and quiet with attentive staff, but everything tasted like it came straight from frozen bags and boxes, then got drowned in salt. My Reuben was tiny and forgettable. The coleslaw was just vinegar-soaked cabbage with zero creaminess. They served maybe a dozen fries in a metal cup, presumably to hide how few there were, and they definitely tasted like they came from a bag. The wings were tiny, charred on the tips, and for some reason all the flats were snapped. They had this overwhelming umami flavor that had nothing to do with buffalo sauce. Honestly, they tasted like BBQ wings with different sauces slapped on top to create “variety.” Even the pickles were identical despite different cuts—what’s the point? Why do I want a plate of pickles just cut differently? Silly cost cutting bs. Decor is stuck in 2004, the place was half-empty, and I can’t think of a single reason to come here unless you want to sit at the bar getting hammered. This is what happens when a financial holding company takes over your brand; at these prices, we deserve so much better. How hard is it to make fresh coleslaw, a decent sandwich, proper wings, and real fries? I feel bad for the staff because they’re great, but the food just isn’t worth your hard earned dollars.

It was my first time at Pickle Barrel and won’t be the last. We were greeted warmly by the hosts & then by Amanda, our fantastic and attentive server. She took her time with all of us, and helped me decide on the meatloaf entree — which was amazing. We also had the wings and fries (delicious and crispy) and a beet salad which was loaded. The pickles to start are a nice touch too!

I still enjoy Pickle Barrel. The food is good but pricing is increasing while portions are shrinking. Staff is now soliciting your reviews so they can earn free meals. I felt obligated to leave a good review even though the service wasn't great. The summer menu has yummy options. I'm still a customer but visit less frequently.
