This Chinese restaurant is pure winter comfort—tasty, spotless and so heartwarming! The place is immaculately clean, with a cozy vibe that makes you instantly relaxed. Winter’s best here: hot bowls of beef noodle soup with tender meat and chewy noodles warm you from head to toe.

i came here last year, and the food was much better. the selection is not as big as other places like big way and souper, but it’s usually the chinese classics so i can’t complain much about it. the service was good by this middle age chinese lady, better than the younger employees there. it is $3.29/100gs - both bowls were $14 each at 400g - you can scan the qr in my pics for the skewers menu i got the tomato soup - last year it was actually soup, idk what happened over the year but my soup was literally ketchup!?!? it was so thick and unpleasant to eat, but i didn’t feel like complaining and making their night more difficult as it was pretty busy. i hope they figure this out otherwise, i do not recommend the tomato soup as its literally like eating food dipped in ketchup lol my friend got the braised sauce soup - last year it tasted like a beef soup, but today it was soooo oily and salty, but it did have a little beef flavour to it. you can see in the picture how it’s just pure oil. overall, maybe because they changed chefs or something, but our experience today was not good. it’s one of the only spots here in london for malatang, but i think jbbq is better considering these soup changes. but if i were to have rated it last year id probably give it a 4 because the food was much better

Working on and off in London for my project, I was definitely craving some good Chinese food and I’m so glad I found The Perfect Meat Bowl in downtown London! This place is amazing! You get to fully customize your own bowl by choosing your favorite ingredients and picking either a spicy or non-spicy soup base. The flavor was spot on, and everything was super fresh. A nice bonus, their plum juice and rice are just $2.99 and refillable, which is such a great deal. Also, don’t miss out on their skewers, perfectly grilled and full of flavor. They were a surprise hit! Highly recommend to anyone in London looking for comforting, customizable Chinese food with great value and quality. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!
