went here last weekend for lunch. my dad got a burger combo and I got a poutine and a small Diet Pepsi that was so good- I thought it wasn't diet cause it tasted so good :) Service was good- quick and fast! I love the inside cause it looks so retro, very cool place! The poutine was so good, got mine with curds- so tasty and the gravy Is so good! The poutine was so big tho it can feed 2 people lol it's cheaper than most places and it is so big so it is worth the price! :) I wanna try something else on the menu next time I come :) 10/10 for me!!!

My mother and I went in after years of being there, both of us were sceptical but both were very surprised and happy with our meals the homemade burgers are the way to go for a burger spot! Good job guys foods looking awesome and tasting even better

This is one of those places that is bathed in nostalgia, and is a staple of the city of Oshawa. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and still love it. The new owners that took over for the original have kept everything the same, but have added to the menu. You can still get you classic GM burger or Banquet with the cardinal beef frozen Pattie. But not you can also get a nice home made Pattie burger too. I’m visiting from the east coast and had to pop in for dinner tonight during my trip. The dude running the till still knew my name from when I was working for a food service company delivering here. Grabbed a banquet, and a poutine as my side. The price is still great, and the quality and ingredients haven’t changed. So happy I stopped in. This place will be here for a long time yet, and you should stop in and grab a bite to eat. I highly recommend the Banquet or the Boston Chicken Burger.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Whenever we come to Durham region we always stop at Mr.Burger. It’s the absolute best poutine and burgers! So yummy!

I really wanted to love this place because I prefer supporting local "mom & pop" shops over franchises, but the experience fell short. We spent over $50 for two Swiss mushroom burger combos, and unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the price point. It’s also worth noting that the "combo" offers almost no incentive; buying it only saves you about $1 compared to ordering everything separately, which doesn't provide the kind of value you’d expect when bundling a meal. The burgers were small and, while the beef is fresh, it lacks seasoning and flavor. The garlic aioli was nearly non-existent, and the burger was quite greasy, likely from the way the mushrooms and onions are sautéed. Both the fries and onion rings were extremely oily and unseasoned as well. The portions themselves were on the small-to-medium side rather than being generous or satisfying; however, they were so greasy that it was impossible to even finish them. It’s a frustrating experience to pay a premium price for a small portion that ultimately makes you feel sick. While the milkshakes were decent, they aren't enough to justify a return trip. At $25+ per person, you expect to feel full and satisfied. When compared to nearby casual dining chains, the portions here are smaller and the quality is significantly unreliable. I don’t mind paying more to support local, but the value and execution need to be there. Sadly, I won’t be back or recommending this spot.
