Excellent food! Quality and quantity are unbeatable! My favourite is the piri piri chicken bowl with medium spice. They now have some new bowls that I would love to try. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The setup is not ideal for sit-down and is better suited for takeouts. So if you are looking for a sit-down kind of vibe, then this is not setup for that.

I was curious to try this Portuguese/African food. My friend and I ventured in. It's very tiny inside. Maybe 4 tables? The food was ok. It just tasted like BBQ chicken. They did have mild, medium, and extra hot for sauces, but we didn't try them - I should have because it would have given me an idea on the actual peri peri flavas. My friend actually didn't want fries and asked for more salad instead, but she forgot to relay that to the staff in the back, and fries were served. It wasn't the end of the world, and she offered to make a side salad, but that was declined. I took a picture of the dreaded Coke machine that was in the small eating area... it was soo loud I had to strain to hear what my friend was saying - it makes the "eating in" experience less than ideal. I would have rather listened to the Purge siren. On repeat. On a positive note, the food wasn't expensive - both meals came to $26, from what I recall. And the woman that took our order was very kind. Will I be back? No. UPDATE: Ok wait. Never say never! We ventured back in as we wanted a quick bite. Pop machine is fixed! And we tried a different sauce and our meals were very tasty!

My husband and I recently had our first experience with Monteiro Express Belleville, and we were blown away! This place is a gem, distinguishing itself with incredibly low prices and surprisingly generous portions. While the seating is minimal, don't let that deter you. Monteiro Express is all about the food, and it delivers in spades. We were particularly impressed with the portion sizes; each dish is a substantial and filling meal, especially considering the price point of just $10.99! The customizable sauces are a fantastic touch. With options like barbeque, mild, medium, and spicy, there's something for everyone. I opted for the barbeque sauce (mild) and it was delicious – a perfect complement to the rest of the meal. We definitely recommend the Chicken Combo. It's a fantastic way to sample everything Monteiro Express has to offer. The grilled chicken thighs were flavorful and juicy, the fresh-cut fries were crispy and perfectly salted, the seasoned rice was a welcome and tasty addition, and the crisp salad provided a refreshing contrast. Overall, Monteiro Express Belleville offers incredible value for money. If you're looking for a hearty, delicious meal without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. Just be aware that seating is limited! We'll definitely be back.

We stopped by Monteiro Express in Belleville during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised! 🇵🇹 It’s a Portuguese fast food spot and the food was so delicious — full of flavor and super affordable. We originally planned to grab just one combo for $11, but it was so good we ended up getting three… and even took two more to go! 😋 If you’re in the Belleville area and craving something tasty, definitely give this place a try. Highly recommended! 🙌

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful first time experience with this new restaurant. Very nice young man at the front counter helped explain each dish and price very affordable for 2. The food was very flavorful. I never had such unique tastes very good. Both my bf and I walked away satisfied/full from sharing the poutine and had the energy we needed to get our groceries. Thank you, kind people.
