Service was mediocre, the food was plain and boring. Had a garden salad and theres 2 small slices of cucumbers, 2 slices of tomatoes that were still green and iceberg lettuce. 🤮 I will never eat there again. Bad layout of seating as well. I couldn’t find the skip tip button so i tipped the lowest amount out of obligations.

Lucky to have found a breakfast spot like this! The prices were very reasonable for the choices and amount of food. Our waitress was very kind, friendly and attentive. We were served quickly and the food was really good. Lovely little diner that hit the spot!

We had lunch two days ago and I’m normally a fan of the restaurant but this time the potatoes and eggs were burnt as was the toast plus the tortellini soup was watery and lacking flavour. The waitress would as questions about our food and walk away as we are answering it without caring. Will be avoiding McKay’s going forward, it seems to be falling apart.

The service and food were fantastic. Very reasonably priced. My husband and I have agreed to make this our new go to place to eat when we come to town.

Friendly service. Food is good. This isn’t the Ritz. It’s a diner. Go in expecting diner fare. The couple people complaining are likely serial whiners. The old adage rings true. You can’t please everyone. Especially Karen’s.
