We absolutely love Mama's Kitchen. We stumbled upon this beauty of a spot and will forever come back. Amazing food, local, wonderful hospitality.

We had a reservation last Saturday for a late breakfast as so glad we did. The place was packed. Despite being so busy our server was attentive and kind. The food was great classic diner breakfast. Gluten free options available

Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning around 9 a.m. Though busy, I had no problem getting a table and was seated immediately. The attentive and polite host came over right away and started me with a decent cup of coffee. I ordered within a couple minutes. it was nice not to be left waiting for service like so many other places. The ham and cheese omelet was excellent. Another reviewer complained about the shape (square) but the novelty of it's form did not diminish the quality in any way. There was a very generous portion of ham in the omelette! Each forkful had some spilling over. The cheese was a nice mild cheddar. The homefries were fine; well-browned and fluffy inside. I noted that interior decor was sparse. It gave me something like a cafeteria feeling. The large expanse of open walls could use a bit of decoration I think.

Not sure how this restaurant got 4.7 star rating. The potatoes were.....not great. Why is the omelette square??? The whole meal was lacking in appeal and taste. The service was decent but could be better. The atmosphere needs to be more inviting.
