It was such a fun night when my friends and I decided to hop between different restaurants—and this spot was one of our stops. The decor was bright, playful, and full of character, which instantly caught my eye. The food was just as I remembered—affordable and absolutely delicious—and the drinks hit the spot too. The only downside of the visit was the restroom. It was noticeably dirty, and I honestly couldn’t forget what I saw 😰. While I get that it was likely because of careless customers, it still affected the overall vibe of the place. That said, I’d still consider checking out their other locations to see if they offer the same great food with a better experience all around.

The atmosphere was so unique, and the food felt truly authentic. It was all delicious. We never expected a place we stopped by randomly during our trip to turn into such a great experience. It was a wonderful spot for a family meal. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Amazing Taiwanese Fusion! 🤩 I was thoroughly impressed by this restaurant! Large portions, strong flavours and overall so delicious! I love that they have mini individual-sized hot pots, although they’re still shareable! Not only do they have a wide variety of hot pots with both premium meat and seafood, they also have sizzling plates with rice or noodles, bowls, unique appetizers and delectable desserts! So many options, there’s something for everyone! 🙌🏼 They have 3 locations across the GTA including downtown, Markham and Mississauga! I visited the Markham location for the first time and the staff were so kind, friendly and attentive! It was pretty spacious with booths, and great for groups! My parents joined me for lunch and we really enjoyed it! Here’s what we tried: 🥘 JAPANESE STYLE SUKIYAKI HOT POT W/ UDON 🔥🍜 HOUSE SPECIAL BLACK PEPPER SPICY TERIYAKI CHICKEN w/ SPAGHETTI SIZZILING PLATE 🔥🥩 SIZZLING TERIYAKI BEEF W/ RICE 🍗 TAIWANESE STYLE POPCORN CHICKEN 🐷 BRAISED PORK BELLY BAO 🥭 MANGO SNOW SLUSH Loved the miso broth of the hot pot! It was so flavourful! The sizzling plates were absolutely delicious and the sauce was satisfying ! They’re very generous with the large portions of meat! The popcorn chicken was super crispy and the bao was so yummy! I would definitely visit this place again! I also got a free milk pudding for dessert just for signing up for their membership on the Mabu app! It was tasty, not sweet and the perfect ending to a wonderful meal 😍 thank you for having me! Food was respectable. I would not order their stir fry options (small portions) and the beef angus pancake wrap. The main dishes were good. Kind wished they gave us a bigger table as the restaurant was not packed and plenty of empty tables. What really saved the experience was the promotional discount with cash payment

I started with the classic popcorn chicken, and it was a perfect rendition—succulent, well-seasoned morsels with that signature burst of basil and pepper. The Japanese-style fries were a fun, crispy side with a unique seasoning that made them moreish. But the star of the show was the Iron Plate Beef Rice. The beef arrived sizzling on a hot plate, tender and smothered in a rich, savory sauce that mingled perfectly with the steamed rice. A fantastic meal that balanced comforting classics with bold, sizzling flavors. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
