Best poutine in Ottawa, highlight of our poutine adventure around town. Perfect fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Fries were the perfect thickness, gravy was just the right colour and texture, cheese curds were just the right amount of melty yet still solid. Counting down the days until I can come back next.

Every detail, from the quotation, organization, set up, and service was easy and efficiently executed. Every member of our team raved about the food served. We highly recommend the team of Lou Fast Food for your next event.

Pro : - the young man taking and expediting orders was impressively remembering everyone’s orders & service was very fast despite lots of people ordering. - I can tell good quality potatoes & cheese curds were used Cons: - The gravy was not hot enough + not enough was put on because the cheese did not melt at all & it was a bit dry. Overall it was pretty cold despite eating it right away. - if you’re going to charge $8 for a small poutine you’d want it to be great and a pretty solid portion - unfortunately this wasn’t the case. This definitely is not the best poutine in Ottawa, I’d put it in the category of tourist food.

If you’re craving a good poutine, then look no further than Lou’s. It really satisfied my craving they have authentic cheese curds that squeak as you bite into them. The gravy was delicious and so hot that it burned the inside of my mouth. It was well worth the battle wounds

This is a family street food business near the Parliament. They are so friendly to customers. Their classic poutine is one of the best with multi layers of cheese & gravy, and the price of their combo deal is reasonable. The sausage is a bit overcooked other than that everything is fine. Keep up the good work!
