gorgeous warm mood lighting and fun uplifting atmosphere! miss gorgeous girl E was serving my girls and i! she was awesome and totally inviting. highly recommend an espresso martini. definitely coming back!

Avoid this place! There are many better places along Wyandotte that actually deserve and welcome your presence! We called a few days prior to make a reservation and was told no reservation needed and to just walk in by the man on the phone. We show up as a party of 5, and the woman tells us we need a reservation, despite not a single other soul in the restaurant. Everything about this place screams shady. The place smelled like freshly lit cigarettes, so someone is obviously smoking indoors here. The maximum occupancy sign was obscured with a flower/plant. Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall seeing the WECHU sticker in the window either (but I may be wrong with this one). She is annoyed, but sits us next to the door, she gives us a bottle of water each with no glasses and no menu. We ask for menus and she tells us menu is only available on Google. Excuse me - what?! She's clearly annoyed that we are there, and asks if we'll be gone within 2 hours. Great hospitality eh? Tone and attitude say a lot. We reluctantly pull the menu up and it's from 3 years ago. She offers absolutely no assistance other than telling us the prices are incorrect, then heads to the back and we didn't see her again. It was at this point we decided to leave and go somewhere we felt more welcomed. I walked by again to get to my car a few hours later and place was STILL empty.

I had an amazing experience at Lamasso. Diana was our server — she was incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her warm energy made the night even more special. I would definitely come back and highly recommend asking for Diana!

The owner is extremely passionate and takes care of her customers. Food is excellent with spins on traditional Arabic food. A must try.
