Lots of dining space, quick service, and the homemade patties have great texture and simple clean flavour - this a bonus you usually only see in small diners.

If you miss Union Burger and you need a more economical option for food, you could go here. There's no doors on the men's or women's washrooms, which made me a tad uncomfortable.. but what really made me uncomfortable was how filthy the washrooms were. The women's looked like a horror movie took place in there (not entirely the staff's fault, but yuck) and the men's looked like a gas station washroom was top tier. (When you have to go, you have to go. That's why I was in the men's washroom) I'll give credit where it's due, the male employee did clean the women's washroom as soon as I said it was covered in blood. The food was alright. I thought it seemed familiar but the whole restaurant was just Union Burger without the name branding.

This place really captures the feel of a traditional burger joint. Flattop cheeseburgers, handcut brined French fries, milk shakes, onion rings, and throw in the Canadian spice of poutine and domestic beer and you have yourself a fantastic place to grab lunch or dinner. Food is made fresh to order. The veggies are fresh and crunchy, the burgers are juicy and meaty, the fries are crispy and salty. The American cheese is perfectly melty and full of flavour. The prices are more than fair and you feel full when you're done! Today I had their special double bacon cheeseburger combo and spent about as much or less as I would at most fast food spots. The atmosphere is friendly and safe considering its proximity to downtown, I take my son here quite often. He loves the hotdog! Highly recommend!

The Burger was fantastic! Fries were cold and mushy but I typically don't make a fuss about those anyway. Lost all the stars for the disaster of a BATHROOM. I went there while waiting for my order and it's just "gas station having a BAD day" unclean. Then NO TOILET PAPER. (dont worry, I figured out how to solve but not fun). And then no mirror... which is just strange but not the end of the world. It almost made me throw the food out since you know what they say about the quality of the washroom and how it reflects on kitchen cleanliness..... do better KW BURGER!

Union Burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! The meat was flavourful and juicy, and the custom toppings are fresh and generous. Highly recommend the peppercorn goat cheese burger that has two patties and caramelized onions! Edit: they changed their name to KW Burger Co. but still have mostly the same menu. I don’t know if they changed anything, but it seems the fries are now over cooked/greasy, and there’s not enough goat cheese nor peppercorn on the “peppercorn goat cheese burger”. The beef used to be advertised as “hormone free”, but isn’t anymore. I will still go when I want a burger because “support local”.
