Amazing food and really friendly, family-run kitchen. Nashville Hot Chicken was epic. Loved the lobster rolls. My little guy all of a sudden had a problem with cheese on his burger and they whipped up a new one, no questions asked. Will be back over and over.

Ok so we gotta have a chat about Killer Buns. First, just wanna lead things off by saying the gentleman who served me (Kel) was a fantastic dude. Very welcoming and chatty. The kind of guy every Smashburger place wishes they could have on their payroll. I'd be going back just for the quality of conversation, alone. But there's more reasons to return. Second, I'd like to acknowledge and appreciate their bold venture into 2 food spaces that have some crazy dragons customers can chase: that being smashburgers and lobster rolls. We've all had a good smashburger, a few lucky people can say theyve had a good lobster roll before, but has anyone ever had a good lobster roll at a good smashburgers place before? I didn't think so. Finally, the food. The lobster roll was the outstanding favorite. It tastes like LOBSTER. Not drowned in butter, not bread with a garnish of lobster giblets. It's a lobster roll with real identifiable pieces of lobster in it. Get the full at $23. It's fair. The burger was fantastic for the price point ($11 and some change). Kel knew how to smash those beef balls properly. Got a good Maillard effect. I wish the patty was salted a bit more though, I had to add some when I got home. Also I wish the burger sauce had some more aggressive seasonings/flavors in it. And in case anyone at the restaurant is reading this, would be SUPER COOL if you tried a fried oyster po boy special sometime. Or an Oklahoma fried onion burger. Just some ideas Back for an update (10/14/25): got the exact same thing again. Who would've guessed the perfect accompaniment to a smashburger is a lobster roll? Changing food rating to 5 stars. The burger was a hit from the first bite this time around. Also I wish I could give the atmosphere 6 stars for the Bourdain portrait. I'll be back for more!

Killer Buns is a gem! The smash burgers are delicious, the fries come out perfectly crispy, and the lobster roll is a must-try. Service is quick, friendly, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you sit inside or enjoy the fresh air on the patio, it’s a great spot to relax with an amazing meal. Highly recommend!

Great vegan options. So nice to have a full menu with lots of choice and all cooked on a solely vegan flattop and fryer! Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable on vegan foods!

Stoked to see a new food spot in the area with solid vegan options run by folks who get it - ie. two separate flat tops and original analogues. Every item on the menu is available veganized, from street corn to lobster rolls to smash burgers, all made from scratch. The burgers and chili had bite, elevated with a touch of spice. The poutine had that chip wagon taste with actual vegan curds. I’m not a fan of carrots, but loved their carrot dogs. The house made black bean and mushroom burgers were above and Beyond usual food service fare. Great flavours, fair prices and friendly staff. Primarily a take out spot, there’s a cosy 10 seat dining area or you can eat upstairs at the Hangout game cafe.
