This was our second attempt to eat at this restaurant. The first time we didn’t realize they close so early on a Saturday and we were turned away at the door. This time, my mom and I were having a bit of a girls day and we arrived earlier, at noon for lunch. It says on the door that they take orders until 12:45. We were seated and given menus and then completely ignored. A larger table was seated after us and had their drinks and orders taken and we were still just sitting there. Behind us all we could hear was the woman who seated us complaining over and over again that people kept coming in and that they would never get to leave. So we just got up and left. If you don’t want customers, why are you open? If you don’t want people to come for lunch specifically, why are you open until 1pm? Close at 11am if you only want to serve breakfast. Staff have a horrible attitude, will not be back.

Usually enjoy the meal and the service received. I frequent this spot with my family and decided to take a friend after raving so often. We were met with very cold service from our waitress who ultimately kicked us out after we had paid. I was shocked as we hadn’t finished our coffee refill (that took us forever to receive a top up) but we had paid because it appeared there was some sort of rush on the servers end. I’m still speechless from the experience.

LOVE this place! The absolute best breakfast in Belleville. Is a "ma & pa" kind of restaurant, the prices are beyond reasonable, the quality of food is perfection, the portions are generous, the staff attentive and just the absolute best. This is my go to every time I go out for breakfast in Belleville. The hashbrowns are REAL potato! Everything is cooked to perfection, however you ask - plus they have HP sauce (nom nom nom). The only breakfast place I recommend. Prices are more than fair. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! You must go!!

Really nice homely diner. The pancakes were phenomenal- the best we’ve ever had. No idea how you guys make it that good! Also our first taste of actual maple syrup, we can only get the sweet stuff in the UK. Only downside was the hollandaise sauce but we came to find that this was the case in several places across Ontario so I’m guessing it’s just an England vs Canadian difference in recipe, no biggy. Overall, really good and friendly place. It was a pleasant start to our holiday.
