Pleasantly surprised to discover really authentic Indian food here. The chana kulcha are as authentic as one would find in Punjab/Delhi. The chef clearly cares about the taste of the food and the results show. Smaller menu options mean that chef is able to focus on making each dish as great as possible. Bravo! Would highly recommend people to enjoy a meal from here while in North Bay.

After traveling for few days through different small towns in Ontario, Halwai’S was a pleasant surprise in North Bay. Being a Punjabi, my love for Chole kulche is unprecedented. The quality, taste and price, all were great. Kulchas were soft and My favorite was Bhije Kulche with the spicy and tangy green chutney. They delivered it direct to my room in hotel.

I have delightful experience with Halwai's sandwiches and samosas, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The sandwiches were not only fresh but bursting with flavor. The combination of ingredients was spot on, and the bread was perfectly toasted. As for the samosas, they were simply outstanding. Crispy on the outside, and filled with a flavorful blend of spices and potatoes on the inside. The size was just right, making them a great snack option. The service was quick and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Halwai to anyone looking for delicious sandwiches and samosas. It's a place where taste and quality truly shine.

I ordered two plates of Amritsari Kulcha from them, plated to perfection, and to complement my meal, I paired it with a refreshing Thumbs up soda. The taste was simply amazing! The Amritsari Kulcha was bursting with authentic flavors and had the perfect balance of spices and textures. Each bite transported me to the streets of Amritsar, and I could feel the passion and love that went into preparing this dish. It's evident that this home-based startup has mastered the art of cooking, and they take great pride in serving high-quality food. One thing that stood out to me was the excellent packaging. Despite being a home-based venture, they ensured that the food arrived neatly packed and sealed, maintaining its freshness and warmth. The attention to detail in their packaging reflects their commitment to providing a delightful dining experience, even for takeaways. Attached is a picture of my scrumptious meal, and as you can see, the presentation was on point. The passion for their craft is evident not only in the flavors but also in the way they present their dishes. I ordered some cold sandwiches and samosa. Both were very delicious and also fresh. Specially green chutney was very tasty. Also, their delivery services are great. Nice staff.
