That Food Dude

I went to this truck for the first time today and I was thoroughly impressed by the food and customer service of this food truck. I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was one of the best ones I've ever had. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection and I love how he cut the bun so the top was hinged onto the bottom, which kept toppings from slipping out of the bottom. I was glad I made the choice of having fries on the side too because they were fresh cut and crispy, some of the best fries I've had in a while. The owner was friendly and a good guy too, he definitely knows what he's doing. I'll definitely be back, keep up the good work. Also, if you're reading this, I know that's an old Purolator truck, did you get that from McKenzie Auctions? I may have driven and that truck and peeled those decals off back in the day. The minute I saw the old remnants of the blue & red decal on the bolts I knew it was one of ours; that stuff was a PITA to peel off. I may have even served you back in the day, probably why you remembered me. 🤣

Gus and Hassen make some of the best food I have ever had from....i say food truck, but in reality this is a restaurant on wheels. If you are in the area of the Staples plaza on Commissioners and Baseline definitely drop in for for a bite.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I would give no stars if possible. Do NOT rely on this food truck if you want professionalism. They committed to our school event and never showed up. No call, no text, no explanation — nothing. I only found out they weren’t coming because I called them. Imagine planning an event with kids and families counting on food, only to be left hanging. Completely disrespectful and unreliable. Save yourself the stress and book someone who actually shows up when they say they will.

The grilled chicken sandwich was perfect. You can’t get healthy grilled chicken breast like this anywhere else! The owner Ghassan was really nice too.
