I came here for lunch on February 23rd with my friend and we had the fish specials. The price on the sign was $1.00 cheaper ($11.99) but we were charged $12.99. I feel the value of the meal at $12.99 is a good deal, however, you need to change your sign, as it is misleading. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The serving size was very generous. I like that each table gets their own tartar sauce. The service was not friendly. The person serving the tables was very unfriendly as she didn't seem to be happy at all doing her job.

Nice quiet little restaurant. Was surprised at how much seating they had. Fish and chips were amazing! The batter was so light and fluffy 😍 And the fries are home cut ... not the frozen crap you get everywhere else. Will definitely plan to eat there in the future.

Loved the interior of the restaurant so much. So cozy and welcoming, and everyone working was so nice as well. The fish was flaky and fresh. Fries were alright, could be better but definitely not bad. I would definitely come back, in fact, I can’t wait to! (Also that coleslaw was delicious!!) 🦞🍽️🐠

I gave The Fish Hut a try. Good portion, good price...but the fish was rubbery, the fries so-so and the gravy was lumpy. I've had worse, but I've also had better.

I ordered the 5pc shrimp and chips with a side of gravy. The shrimp were okay, nicely battered but I've learned I don't like the texture of jumbo shrimp and I felt this was the fishiest tasting shrimp I've had. I would not buy it again. I don't like seafood sauce or tartar sauce so I tried the shrimp with a side of plum sauce and with the gravy. Oddly enough the shrimp with the gravy was better than I thought it would be but it was horrible with the plum sauce. The shrimp came with a side of coleslaw and it was a delicious. It was so creamy, with a great quality mayo, it was fresh and probably the best coleslaw I've had in a long time. The chips were sweet, too soft yet firm like a mochi meets tofu texture and were not nice to bite into. Lastly the gravy, it was a pretty good gravy, I just didn't love it but it did improve the shrimp and chips.
