Despite servers best efforts and apologies for long waits due to short staffing, the experience at Belleville Eggquis has gone from great to overpriced mediocrity. Portion sizes have severely shrunk on the breakfast casseroles, the deep dish style bowls have been replaced with 3/4 inch high trays containing half the amount previously served. I counted 8 thin potato slices on the bottom of the dish which used to be 2/3 filled in the bowl. Lining the bottom of the tray with a handful of home fries won’t have customers returning. Tomatoes and mushrooms could not be found or recognized with the attempt to hide everything under the Benedict sauce. Don’t be fooled by the pictures in older reviews here. The fresh sliced fruit is gone and now you get a small bowl of fruit salad you can get from Walmart. Wish I took a picture to post here. If you walk into the restaurant, just look at the tiny fruit bowls on the plates to confirm my review here then walk out. Save your money and time, try another restaurant for brunch. I won’t be returning here. Food tasted fine but if you are serving half portions you really need to stop charging full prices. I feel bad for the staff of this place under new management but your customer loyalty won’t stay and your best staff will find work elsewhere if you continue.

We experienced first hand what shrink-flation is all about at this location. You could count on one hand the quantity of under-seasoned potatoes received on our order of the BOB meal. We have been coming for many years and the change in management is apparent. Quality & quantity has declined unfortunately.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Within a minute we were seated, and Shelley welcomed us so kindly. She gave us a moment to look over the drink menu, which we appreciated since it was our first time there. The chai latte is delicious, by the way! When we ordered our meals, they came out in great time and looked SO good. It’s such a quiet, cute little place. I give it a 10/10 for breakfast/lunch! Also, shoutout to Shelley and the other employees for the amazing customer service! They really made my birthday a great day:)

Ok breakfast but I was disappointed in the casserole (meat) and stale fruits. Good fresh orange juice and good customer service but the taste of the food just was not there.

One word review: fabulous! My friend and I were on a road trip to Ottawa from Toronto and decided to stop by here to have some breakfast. Best decision ever. Everything tasted so good and it was a great start to our morning. 11/10 would recommend! Service was quick and amazing too!
