They say they are open until 8pm but they won't serve the full menu after 7 and carry out only. Might as well close at 7 then. Tried to order at 7:20pm and was told that what I wanted was "too much work" to make after 7. Then why is it on your menu that says all day breakfast??? 40 minutes isnt enough time to cook? Clearly they just didnt want money so I left, wasted time going there for nothing.

I hadn't been to Dines in about 10-15 years. Not for any reason...just sort of forgot about it. I recently re-visited it with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the bacon omelette and it was delicious. I will definitely go there again. Great job guys!

Great location for dining with family. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that some of the servers have been with the restaurant for over 40 years, which truly speaks to the quality of the establishment. The chef was equally amazing and took the time to greet us, adding a personal touch to our experience. We look forward to dining here again soon!

Meh. Not worth it.. Got the New York steak burger and basic breakfast meal. Surprisingly subpar . Diner vibe, portions subpar. Food looks like it was made by your older brother who can barely boil water. See pic, burger was made with 100% rage

I brought my daughter here for breakfast over Christmas, as I've been doing for the past 15 years. Dines has been making great home-cooked meals in Oshawa for over 40 years. I had the peameal bacon, eggs and home fries. I've never left hungry, as the portions are huge here! Thanks for another great breakfast Dines! Dave Knight - Oshawa ON
