Had the most fabulous breakfast today at this restaurant ,the Diamond Grill on Wilson road Oshawa , farmer sausages, beans, strawberries 🍓, rye toast , home grilled potatoes fresh eggs Omg 😱 such a scrumptious meal and all day it’s there to enjoy . What a treat ! Sweetest couple who look after you like family lots of friendly folks and the magic in fresh food is that only to return again and again. I took a guest today and raving was what was said about this fantastic meal of bacon 🥓 grilled potatoes 🥔 with fresh coffee, and eggs to tell the family and friends about and free parking Could not of asked for more . And the homemade burgers 🍔 Magnificent.

Whether you are or not in the Oshawa area, you have to come check out Diamond Grill! They have amazing breakfast all day and lunch, if you're craving! Their eggs benedict are on point; my personal favorite!

Sorry but if you say there are cheese curds in your poutine, put cheese curds, there is grated marble cheese in mine. Kinda ripping people off if you are charging for curds and not providing them. The fries are soggy and the bacon could be cooked longer too. The "Loaded Poutine" is not loaded with anything. Very little cheese and little bacon too. Very disappointing

This place is disgusting. I have no idea how they get any good reviews. I ordered for breakfast. Everything came burnt. Everything. Everything has an orange layer of grease on it showing they dont clean their equipment. The potatos that arent burnt are black from being old. The poutine i dont even know what im looking at. A big glop of thick "gravy" the most suspicious gravy ive ever seen. I tried to eat even the sausage and i knew this was going to create a nightmare bathroom situation. With the state of how their food is i can only image what their kitchen looks like. It all went in the trash and im going to have to fight for a full refund now. $55 on 2 breakfast meals that i wouldnt feed to my dog. Gross. Update: took a look at their inspection reports and its exactly as i suspected. Dont know how they allow them to pass. They failed with keeping their equipment, surfaces, and storage clean. Failed to prevent the entrace of insects,rodents and pests. Evidence of pests observed (this is Jan 23, 2026).

Diamond’s is a classic diner! We stopped by for brunch for the first time and really enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and the price was right; my eggs were cooked perfectly, and I would highly recommend the pancakes! The owner, Jay, is so kind, friendly, and he accommodated for my friend who has celiac. The atmosphere has your classic checkered floor, red vinyl seating, with 1950s pop icons on the walls, and music playing from a mini jukebox. We will definitely be going back! 👌
