Been here a few times, I want to love it because service is great and the atmosphere is cozy but the food is okay. In my last experience, the pasta I got was extremely salty, it was an inedible amount of salt left in your mouth, you can’t ignore it and continue to eat. Potato pancake is very dry, I have to douse it in sauces. The chicken waffle is not bad for the first half! I did feel sick of how sweet it was and from the same note of herb. Mushroom cream soup is a bit too salty but still good. I wouldn’t mind having it again. They are kind enough to remake or give a refund but I don’t think I’ll come back unless someone else wants to.

I have loved EVERYTHING I have tried, the chef puts his heart and soul into every dish he makes. I have no critcisms whatsoever! I see people complaining about the potato pancakes (rosti) and saying things are salty... Rostis are like better hasbrowns people, theyre meant to accompany your meal the same way a miso soup or bread with your sausage and eggs does! Its a bonus and I swear its got an amazing crunchy texture and is just as good as french fries for that potato flavor!! and it has onions and eggs (I think) beat into it like some kinda super hashbrown!! And about the people complaining about salt, I will say SOMETIMES at the VERY END OF THE MEAL (last few bites) I can indeed taste salt, but thats a sign of well seasoned food! If you have a sensitivity to salt just ask for light salt, its not "salty" because you can taste a teensy bit of salt. It just means its properly seasoned, sure a PINCH less salt on 1 of the 4-5 meals Ive had here would make it not taste a BIT like salt on the last bite but we are all human you cant salt it perfectly without sometimes adding a tad too much!!! Anyways the food is superb the vibes are immaculate and even if it WAS salty Id come back every time I want a proper brunch lunch or breakfast. To me this is the heart of what local food and people are all about! And its in the heart of downtown people!!! It can be a little hard to miss so DONT!!!

I arrived around 1 pm for lunch. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu items, she was cheerful, attentive without being intrusive. Great service. I took the Guilt Free eggs Benedict with the pistou sauce, it includes a side of fruit. It tasted great and the fruit was a good mix of fresh fruit, not the usual watermelon overload. A great lunch by myself.

Mixed reviews about this place, although the food itself was excellent. The reason for giving 4 stars is the long wait time. We waited almost 30–40 minutes around 12 pm even though several tables were empty—they simply didn’t have enough staff to manage the guests. After being seated, it took another 40–45 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was worth the wait, but the service and overall ambience definitely need improvement.

Great food! Good variety on the menu but not so big that it’s overwhelming. Fairly priced for good homemade quality. We had an eggs Benedict special, breakfast burrito, and eggs and bacon. Ask for their homemade hot sauce! It’s 🥵🔥🔥 We went Sunday afternoon and didn’t have to wait for a table. It’s fairly big inside.
