Daal Roti Premium in Kingston takes that sentiment and elevates it into a fine dining experience, blending the heart of Indian home cooking with modern presentation and elegance.
The restaurant itself is stunning; equally perfect for a laid-back lunch or a polished dinner, but it’s the food that truly steals the spotlight. We started with Dahi Puri, a burst of sweet, tangy, and salty flavours that hit all the right notes, followed by a sizzling Tandoori Chicken Leg that was tender, juicy, and layered with smoky perfection.
For the mains, the Paneer Tikka Masala and Matka Chicken Masala were beautifully crafted: rich, flavourful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Paired with Garlic Naan and Lachha Paratha, each bite was a reminder of everything I love about Indian cuisine.
To cool things down, we tried two refreshing mocktails: the Sweet Piña Colada, smooth and tropical, and the Mango Pine Blossom, bright and zesty. And just when we thought the meal couldn’t get better, dessert arrived: Ghevar with Rabdi; a delicate, crunchy winter delight soaked in saffron-infused sweetness and topped with nuts. A royal finish to a perfect meal!
Beyond the dishes, what really stood out was the hospitality: warm, thoughtful, and full of heart. Daal Roti Premium isn’t just an Indian restaurant; it’s a heartfelt tribute to tradition, flavour, and the timeless comfort of a truly satisfying meal. ✨🇮🇳
