Capers is amazing. I hosted my baby shower here the other day. Capers was so great and accommodating. The event coordinator is super nice and helpful. She answered all my questions and just made sure the space looked so nice the day of the event. The staff and bartender were super friendly. The food was amazing. Everyone at my baby shower raved about the food and it is so reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will probably reach out to host more milestone events. This place is a gem in Belleville 💕

Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been very good. I had a special which was pickerel and everything on the plate was well thought out.

This is a lovely spot with good vibes. The braised beef pot pie was well seasoned with flaky pastry layers. The duck confit dish was delicious, one of the best ducks we’ve had! The wagyu burger with kimchi was ok, the patty was too well cooked and dry. There was a peanut sauce but overall the burger was bland. The desserts were good/ok to my liking, they had much less sugar than one would expect. Live music is always a plus, and it adds so much to the atmosphere, we really enjoyed it!

Great food and amazing service from Crystal! The best duck wings (maybe wings period) I have ever eaten!!!!! The brie is also spectacular and the pear dessert is a lovely finish. Well worth a trip downtown.

My wife and I made a reservation for dinner Friday night to ensure we got a spot. When we arrived we were surprised to find it was not busy and we had the pick of outdoor patio seats. We enjoyed a glass of wine to the music of a solo guitarist and tried a couple of appetizers. Both the shrimp and Burrata Bread were really good. But the main dishes were amazing. I had the Chicken Polenta which was cooked Sous Vide and finished perfectly with a crispy skin and a hard set Polenta that matched perfectly. The Caponata was a fresh version of what we found recently touring Sicily. My wife raved about the Cauliflower Mole and trying it I was really impressed with the Black Bean Mole sauce - it was delicious! It has been a while since we were at Capers, but we will be back to enjoy these delicious menu items right in the downtown core.
