It was my first time trying it, and for a family-sized portion, it was the largest I've ever seen. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was amazing—truly the same as the shawarma we have in our Arab countries. Thank you, and I wish you all the best. First time here! Ordered a Saj wrap chicken Shawarma and I can confidently express that this was my best and most memorable shawarma experience! The chicken was soooo good and special touches (like grilling the saj on the shawarma rotating grill) elevated the flavours. I imagine this is what an authentic shawarma tastes like! I’ll be back next time I’m in Windsor! Oh and it came with 2 dips (included)!

At Amour Restaurant, you don’t only get the chance to try delicious Syrian food — you also get to learn about Syria’s traditions, culture, and the most beautiful places to visit. One of the things I loved the most was the pictures and descriptions that show how great Syria truly is. So when you eventually visit Syria, you’ll already have an idea of the cities, directions, and places you want to explore!

Ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich—it wasn’t even rolled properly and looked more like a taco. 😂 They stuffed it with lettuce, tomato, and onions in a chicken shawarma 🤦. Barely any chicken, just a pile of vegetables, with a weird taste and a soggy, nasty texture. Took couple of bites and tossed it in the trash. I was very pissed. Most of these shawarma spots need to stop serving chicken (and meat) from the previous day—I know most do it. Pay attention, folks: next time you walk in, check the skewer. If it looks dry, don’t eat. Or they’ll try to be sneaky and put a fresh skewer on top while the old chicken from yesterday sits on the pan underneath.

As a traveler from work, i usually eat lot of shawarmas on the go. This one just openned up in Windsor, and all i can say is, it brings the taste back from Calgary, where i enjoyed the syrian style shawarmas. Now the syrian style shawarma is in windsor. You know it's gonna be WHIP when you add the pomegranate sauce. Not to mention ACTUALLY crispy fries, and the hospitality from this family owned business is beyond amazing. They were very kind and very genuine. Amazing staff, amazing family, amazing food. New spot. Thank you soo much, will be back soon :)
